I generally agree. The problem is that the media takes it seriously without any reasonable analysis. Simple slogans such as Just stop oil are far from reality. There is also this general representation in the media that any country that is not willing to do what climate activists want is a bad actor. But it really could be that even if every climate change prediction comes true, for example, Saudi Arabia is still better off selling oil. Similarly, some countries, for example, Russia, may be better off with a warmer climate. A little thought, analysis, and nuance would be nice. Problems aren't solved with simple slogans.
